Ben Au is Managing Partner of AP Accountancy. He is a Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ) and Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), a Registered Tax Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board, and a member of both CPA Australia and CPA Hong Kong. Ben also holds an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL).

With more than twenty years of tax practice experience, Ben’s expertise spans corporate tax, cross-border structuring and wealth planning, serving clients ranging from businesses of varying scale and industry to high-net-worth families across Australia and Greater China. He has long helped clients navigate complex, evolving tax environments — balancing compliance with tax efficiency — and provides targeted advice on asset allocation, corporate structuring and wealth succession.

Ben is also an active advocate for making family office services more accessible, promoting a holistic, cross-border approach to wealth management and corporate structuring for families and high-net-worth clients. He is active in business communities across Australia, Hong Kong and China. He has been invited to share his professional views on regional economic developments and investment trends.
